SGLA GARDENERS
Spring is well on its way in the great north woods and so it's time to start planning gardening events for the summer! For our first event it has been suggested that we go on a field trip to the Winter Greenhouse in Winter, Wisconsin. I went there for the first time last year, and it was amazing. Winter is about an hour or so west of us on 70. People who have had shots can carpool, or those who wish to can drive themselves. I am trying to find a place where we could meet afterwards for lunch or a drink, any suggestions, please let me know. Firmed-up details to follow, but I am thinking around the second week in May or early in the third week.
In the meantime, Joan Schmidman has passed along info regarding a series of virtual gardening seminars. Two have a fee but the rest are free of charge. Thanks Joan, and hope to see you all soon. Links in previous email to SGLA members.
Happy garden dreams,
